The Judge Cafe, a downtown Salt Lake City dining staple for nearly 27 years until its closure three years ago, was re-opened by Royal Tyler, longtime Salt lake City restaurateur, after updating the menu with daily favorites and new modern classics. The eatery was remodeled, giving it a "fresher, modern downtown look".

For those wanting a drink with their meal the Judge is a Utah Liquor licensee and now has a fully stocked bar.

The menu features daily specials that change each week as well as the regular menu. The Judge's famous homemade cookies and sweets are baked daily.

The Judge Cafe also features a consignment art gallery featuring some of the best works of Utah and regional artists.
